Personal Biography
He is one of the most important pioneers of the classic saxophone. He is the co-founder of the Dutch Saxophone Quartet. He performed solos at all great Dutch Symphony Orchestras and among others Symphonica Ungarica, Bayerische Rundfunk, Ulster Symphony.
A discography with among others: Telefunken, CBS, Polydor and BV Haast.
He taught at the Conservatories in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Groningen and at present he is active as Principal Subject teacher at the Lemmens Instituut in Leuven (Belgium). He gave guest-lectures in among others: Warschau, Poznan, Rome, Oslo and Götenborg.
