Ed Bogaard Alto-saxophone Personal Biography He is one of the most important pioneers of the classic saxophone. He is the co-founder of the Dutch Saxophone Quartet. He performed solos at all great Dutch Symphony Orchestras and among others Symphonica Ungarica, Bayerische Rundfunk, Ulster Symphony. A discography with among others: Telefunken, CBS, Polydor and BV Haast. He taught at the Conservatories in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Groningen and at present he is active as Principal Subject teacher at the Lemmens Instituut in Leuven (Belgium).
